Join Covid relief work with Goa’s Humanitarian Helpline

What’s this about?

Sensible.Earth and partner organizations have launched the Goa Humanitarian Helpline to identify and assist people in distress (especially migrant workers and the elderly) with food, medicine and hygiene products during the nation-wide lockdown.
GHH is essentially a citizens’ initiative with multiple organizations and individuals involved. They are operating with a cloud telephony platform to take calls while volunteers coordinate via WhatsApp, phone and Zoom videos. The Sensible.Earth premises have also doubled up as a food bank with over 5 tons of rations and sanitary products. They have obtained permits for 5 delivery vans to distribute food with the help of gurudwaras, charitable organizations and panchayats.

The effort has impacted 5,500+ lives and counting! For more information on GHH or to donate time, money or resources to the effort in Goa please reach out to them on their Facebook page or the following contact leads. Interested volunteers can fill the form listed below:

The GHH team will get back to you with volunteering opportunities based on your skill set.
