Sour, bright and intense, the Hibiscus flowers lend a tangy and tart flavor, while fennel adds earthiness to balance the tartness. The longer you brew, richer the color and intensity of flavor. Sourced from Darjeeling, the caffeine content in this blend is medium.

This Hibiscus Green Tea contains real hibiscus petals which is known for being effective in reducing blood pressure and is therefore the perfect tea to consume for heart patients and people suffering from cholesterol problems.

About the brand

Tea Trunk was founded in 2013 by Tea Sommelier Snigdha Manchanda, in order to source teas directly from farmers and craft them into unique blends.  In 2011, her passion for tea took her to a professional tea school in Sri Lanka, where Snigdha studied under the guidance of Japanese tea master, Nao Kumekawa. She came back inspired and brimming with stories about tea, and decided to make it her mission to demystify tea-speak.
