1. Egg & olive oil (Preparation time: 2 mins)
Ingredients:
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp olive oil
water
Procedure:
Mix the egg and oil in a bowl until it becomes a smooth paste. Add a little water and mix until you achieve the right consistency. Apply all over the hair and leave it for a couple of hours. Remember to wash it off with cool water and a mild shampoo.
Why it works:
Olive oil is a natural conditioner. Egg is extremely hydrating and helps make the hair smooth and manageable.
2. Apple cider vinegar (Preparation time: 2 mins)
Ingredients:
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 cup water
Procedure:
Mix the two and set aside. After washing your hair with your regular shampoo, rinse your hair with the vinegar. After a thorough rinse, wash off again with cool water.
Why it works: Apple cider vinegar helps lock in moisture, making the hair shinier and easier to manage.
3. Lemon & aloe vera (Preparation time: 4 mins)
Ingredients:
1 lemon
a few spoons of aloe vera
Procedure:
Mix the ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Proceed with a regular shampoo. Then work the mixture into your hair and massage it well. Leave it on for 5-8 minutes before rinsing it off with mildly warm water.
Why it works: Aloe Vera contains enzymes that repair dead skin cells and heal the scalp. The anti-fungal properties of lemon help boost the scalp’s health too.
